The Perfect Life

You are living the perfect life to bring you into the awareness of your infinite capacity.

Whatever the circumstances you are now living in, you can feel the prompting to find a better way to live.

Instead of your job, or lack of one, being the guiding focus of your life, you can feel the inward direction leading you to an opportunity to give more, right where you are.

The millions of thoughts that we each have every day send us in circles instead of moving us forward into the life of our dreams.

First of all, do you even take time to think about your dream life?

Is it one shaped by the harassment  of the advertising media?

Or do you have a quieter, more fulfilling dream?

You came here with a divine individuality.

You have eternal resources, which means you have them now as well as forever.

You have a mind which can perceive spiritual ideas.

It feels good to put them into practice.

Its OK if you don’t feel like you know how right now.

With your amazing perceptive mind, you can ask the question, “How can I serve more?” and get the answer within the quietness of your mind, heart and soul.

When you are persistent about the question, you will start hearing the persistent answer.

Listen and be willing to follow the guidance that will surely follow, once you have demonstrated your willingness to listen.

It will take you through a route that you had no idea existed.

It will put you in touch with the people who can benefit you the most and will lead you to the people who can receive your services.

You will find yourself living the life of your dreams, only more so, because you turned it over to the Universe and listened.

You Are Standing

Young people today are standing and moving and acting in the face of formidable obstacles.

You are facing down the old limitations perpetuated by old exploitive thinking.

The ideas have successfully bubbled to the surface and are erupting as the two states of thought clash.

On one side is peace, social justice, respect and equality.

On the other is aggression, white racial privilege and money.

All the philosophies of the ages point to this time.

Right is superseding might.

Love, compassion and respect for all keep overturning exploitation and privilege.

We are all moving into a place of sustainable life through respect and care for each other and the environment, and through sharing and lifting each other up.

The Goals We Were Meant To Have

Our changed economic and political and social atmosphere is all leading us to something different.

Our lives are held in a different kind of balance.

Can we figure out a way through it and to the goals we were meant to have?

Our true release and guidance come from within.

Nothing on the outside is prepared to do this.

We have to feel for the right way for ourselves.

The old goals are using up all the physical resources.

What are the non-physical resources which are available and how do they help us?

Each person’s resources are from within, and there they are infinite.

It is a different feeling entirely to be working with infinite resources.

It is a different feeling entirely to have a steady and guiding direction from within.

But there it is.

Our resources and guidance are accessible at any time, anywhere we happen to be.

And they are guiding us in a sure and steady path, every time we turn within to listen.

A New Culture

There is no room for you in the old ways.

Rejoice!  Hallelujah!

This is because it is a new time.

You are a new vessel.

You are already ordained to reach higher, live more deeply and richly.

The earth has simply run out of the old way.

Make a new way.

Listen within.

Your resources are unlimited.

You are a “cultural creative” - that is, all of you are creating a new culture.

The old one is no longer useful.

Make a better one.

Turning Forward

You do not need to turn back to anything from the past.

You are writing an original script for yourself which has nothing to do with the old tools, jobs, or ways of doing things.

You possess immense entrepreneurial capacity.

In fact, that is your best capacity, since the old jobs are capable of being done by lots of other people.

You are here for a unique purpose, to discover your gift and to share it.

This is what will give you the most personal satisfaction, and once you are building your life on that, it really doesn’t matter what anyone else’s opinion is.

This can take place at any point n your life, but now is best.

Building on personal satisfaction, you will always find ways to improve yourself and to share your gift more and more widely to the great satisfaction of your clients and customers.

You will enhance your personal relationships because you are so happy.

You will draw happy people to you.

You will create a wider and wider circle of happy people who trust you and love what you do.

I don’t think you can build a better life for yourself.

It sure beats what the last generation has done.

What You Are Made Of

You are honestly made up of the thoughts you thing and the energies you embody.

You are made up of honesty, integrity, delight, intelligence, humor.

These have a form, and it is you.

Or you may be made up of frustration, anger resentment, stupidity, and despair.

All of these thoughts and energies have an effect on the body you are living in.

When you use your imagination and desire to direct an redirect your thoughts and energies, you begin to find solutions.

If you are living in a world which others have created around you, and we all are, you can begin to create a better, more uplifting world for yourself.

Choose the thoughts and energies which will lift you out and up and let these energies dilute the downward, greedy, corrupt selfish ones.

Others will see the light you are emitting a you gently burn your path outward and upward and they, too, will seek the light energies within themselves.

We will all remake the world around us so it works to uplift and empower and guide and protect and care for all of us.

Attract, Not Acquire

I read it again, in my spiritual study, how when we are love itself, we naturally find ourselves in supportive circumstances.

And then it hit me - we attract the circumstances, relationships, fulfilled needs, even though it may look as though we are acquiring them.

We do not have to figure out how.

When we are listening from within and all those amazing coincidences happen, it is because of what we love.

Our desire to express what we love attracts everything necessary to its expression.

It could be a business relationship, materials, machinery, whatever is needed to express what we love.

Naturally, we work toward our goals.

We think about them, figure out ways to create them, outline steps to fulfill them.

But, we are not the organizing force.

We recognize the organizing Force.

The organizing Force is what brings the ideas into consciousness and then It brings everything needed to support the ideas and to express them and to support us, too.

It brings the basic necessary things like food, clothing, shelter, and then it brings the other necessary things, the ideas for a fulfilling life.

We are here to be expressed.

It all happens by listening within.

We attract, we do not acquire.

The Most Valuable Thing

The most valuable thing you have is your mind and heart.

A lot is being done nowadays to distract you from them.

In your mind and heart lies your power.

You know how to receive intuition.

You know how to discern your deep peaceful self.

In those actions, the quiet ones, you receive strength and direction,

Your mind and your heart are speaking to you.

They will guide you to take the kind of action which will lead to a fulfilling life of creativity and service.

They will lead you to discern right action and right livelihood.

They will fill your mind with ideas and our heart with overflowing compassion.

In the force of that flow and guidance, you will be part of what uplifts society and civilization.

You Empower Yourself

Your deep sense of who you are has been talking to you.

Are you listening?

Your resources come from within, not from without.

Listen until your ideas are so powerful that they overflow into action.

This is the life you were meant to live.

Your individual ideas, solutions, applications, inspirations are the key to your wealth and authenticity.

They are the key to your power.

You are not a separate entity walking on the surface of the earth begging for shelter and food.

Your ideas, the ones which uplift yourself and others, are the real power on this earth.

Empower yourself and express them.

You ARE Here to Change the World

The old resources are gone and you have brought your new ones with you.

They are within, and you are learning how to listen for them and to use them.

The new resources come from your soul.

You are here to bless and be blessed.

You are here to be useful and perpetuate usefulness.

You are here to be inventive and creative and to develop a new way of life.

There is a way of life which could value everyone.

Some cultures practice it now.

There is a way of life which could take care of everyone.

Some cultures practice it now.

There is a way of life where people can do the things that they love and contribute and uplift society and civilization with their love.

Some individuals practice it now.

You will have to live differently.

You arrived here at the cusp.

Something new is happening.

And you are the ones who are doing it.

The Old Path and the New Way

We are evolving from a consciousness where we need to be taken care of to where we take care of ourselves and others.

The need to be taken care of allowed the evolution of mass processes over long distances regardless of cultures or bioregions.

The awareness of our ability to take care of ourselves is causing different requirements to come to the forefront.

Localizing food, redeveloping local communities, and recognizing cottage industries are bringing us forward into a new appreciation of ways we can take care of all of us.

Because we know about worldwide resources, but we feel so impersonally toward them and vice versa, we are now at a point to appreciate and utilize our local resources in many new ways.

After the shock or transitioning to local resources, I expect a completely different set of relationships to emerge.

Not Your Advertising Budget

My husband has had a dream for over fifty years, since he was about seventeen.

When we began courting, about twenty-eight years ago, he shared his excitement about his dream and we spent hours over all those years detailing every aspect of it.

I have watched him continue to commit time and resources to his dream.

And finally, watched him break the last hold, the last obstacles to accomplishing his dream.

It is not his “advertising budget” or anyone else’s capital investment, or even a bank loan that is bringing it to pass.

It is the overcoming of every tendril of self-doubt built up and perpetuated by life experiences.

Finally, after all these long years, the necessity of choosing between the dream and the self-doubt forced the issue.

I am amazed and privileged to witness this action and I tremendously respect the man behind it.

The World's Path is Not Your Path

The world’s path is breaking down.

But your path is opening up.

Your unlimited spiritual nature is guiding you to do the simple unlimited things first.

As you become unselfish and competent at those things, you will be given more.

the more you increase your service, the more opportunities will continue expanding for you.

You are a precious and valued member of society and civilization.

Your work is to realize this and to see where that reality takes you.

You are here with a purpose and it is not the world’s purpose.

It is the path within you, longing to be expressed.

Until You Find Your Own Path

You work for someone else until you find your own path.

You apply yourself to your job, practicing the principles you want to express along your own best path.

By valuing the way you express your core beliefs, and listening for your unique contribution, you will find your path.

From your deep listening, you will draw all the resources you could ever need, all exactly at the right time.

They appear as you become aware of your need.

The world’s pattern is not your pattern.

Yours comes from deep within and you express it outwardly.

You have all you need, and even more to share as you continue on your listening path.

Lookin' Good

Posing for selfies is a fun way to keep track of what is going on and how good you are looking.

Going “within” is a good way to keep track of who you are and what you are doing from your deep down core.

Creating the match between who you are and your “gifted” work is the best of what can happen in your life.

Look well and deep.

Try out the feeling of being the best that you can be doing the work that enriches your soul, i.e., pleases you, the most.

Try out the feeling of doing something until you can do the work that really pleases you.

The good feeling will take you there faster, much faster.

Getting discouraged and annoyed will also take you there as you desperately work to turn your life in the direction you really wanted to go in the first place.

So, in making a good life for yourself, really consider what you are here on earth to do.

And get to it as soon as possible.

Newness

I am repeating a fairly new process for myself, making yogurt from scratch.

I am heating the milk in an outdoor kitchen this time, and I have divided the culture packets approximately in half to make pints this time, not quarts.

I will let the yogurt incubate in an empty cooler for insulation, not in the the heat of the pilot light in a gas oven.

Will it work?

I don’t know.

It is certainly worth a try.

I find it useful and a little bit exciting (I realize I am talking about making yogurt) to find out how things work in different situations.

It is more knowledge for me, and maybe even a workable, (in this case, edible), product.

Your Release

Starting with what you know right now about yourself, what is the most fun and fulfilling thing you would like to do with your life?

That is a directive for you

Don’t try to do anything with it or about it.

Just notice it.

Appreciate it.

Observe it.

Love that it is there in your thought.

Come back to it from time to time.

Come back to it often.

Love it.

That is your direction.

In the quiet place of your mind, the within, enjoy its existence.

When you are impelled, you will do something.

Let that be your new way to live.

Observe.  Listen.  Love.  Be impelled.  Act.

Love some more.

Find Transcendence

Those incidents of rejection have nothing to do with me.  

They are part of the way I found my transcendence.

Discomfort is one of your best friends.

So is betrayal.

How are you going to find your own feet, your own balance without them?

Do you dare take the risk if you are too comfortable?

Are you accepted?

Why would you ever step out of that circle?

That niche?

Your comfy niche is your prison if you have a desire and you are not desperately working to fulfill it.

You goal should be outrageous and bodacious.

Keep dreaming it until you can work it.

Safe is not interesting, nor is it fulfilling.

Taste the new wind; try a new direction.

Be miserable as you are pulled inexorably toward your unreasonable goal.

But, underneath, be happy and amazed at your daring and courage.

Pleasing Someone Else

You only have to please someone else until you believe yourself worthy of pleasing yourself.

This old cultural struggle is worth the strength it will build up in you.

Despite any and all attachments, you belong to yourself first.

You can still take care of your cultural responsibilities as you move yourself where you belong.

You have enough creativity to do this.

You have the right resources to both flourish in taking care of yourself and to take care of your second responsibilities.

Both are important.

Ask to be guided to take the steps which will fulfill you and which will not leave others destitute.

Move yourself into your best position this way.

You will not be disappointed.

What is Possible

I am an ambassador of love.

I have discovered the deep peace of doing what I love.

I have discovered how to get there and return there whenever I need to.

I have discovered the never ending source of ideas which I love to do.

And I am doing them.

I am an ambassador to the kingdom of doing what you love to do.

You perpetuate whatever you do by your continual thoughts about it.

Choose something you love to do and perpetuate that.

If you are not doing it yet and it doesn’t even look as though you will ever be able to do it or to even figure out what it is, develop a practice of going within.

Whenever you hear an argument against doing what you love or being who you are, go within.

That is where you will find your identity and that is what will guide you as long as you return to it over and over again.

My own journey took years and years, but it is worth it.

If I had not started, I would still be in an old role which I did not want to play.

But I discovered how to go within, and it is my constant practice now.

There are bigger and bigger vistas and opportunities for service.

It is the most fulfilling life I could possibly live.

You deserve it, too.

Be your own ambassador of love.

Growing Up

How did you meet the challenges of growing up?

Or how are you meeting them now?

Do you have perfect parents?

I didn’t.

And I was not a perfect parent.

But I gave my birth-children and my step-children some excellent standards and practices and good manners.

Are they using them now?

I imagine so, some of them.

Are they going in directions I expected?

Each one is discovering a unique path that it was not my privilege to know.

Do they keep in touch?

More or less, somewhat, and yes, depending on the time, the issue, and memories.

The thing is, I am still growing, constantly, rigorously and vigorously.

And so are they.
