Service Through Expansion

The idealism of young people is being translated into action through valuing themselves and their ideas of how they want to live.

They are not accepting the guidelines, nor the limitations, of the previous generations.

They are viewing the situation clearly and are organizing to influence events in a more positive direction.

They are concerned with that which serves everyone instead of just special interests.

They are translating their ideals into practical and effective action.

Instead of thinking just of themselves and their peers, they are embracing the need for positive action which affects everyone.

They are not playing to a small base, but to the needs of everyone as human beings.

They are actively concerned about their safety and the safety of their environment - physical, political, economic, and ecological.

Never before has this idealism had the scale of tools to be put into motion.

The demonstrations of the sixties used the available tools.

Through social media, today’s tools are more far-reaching.

The wealth which is available to so many young people is being utilized to support their action on behalf of a much larger population.

By allowing their sense of self to expand to include all of their generation, they are benefitting those of other generations.

Using their economic and social tools, they are carrying out the steps which are needed to change society.
