Start Giving

Do not wait until you fulfill some kind of circumstance, but start giving right away.

You have an innate sense of what your gifts are because you are drawn to certain things.

You give from your deepest sense of who you are.

Throughout your life, you will gain a deeper sense of your identity and how to give.

You always give from your heart’s overflow.

You give when you are moved to do so.

You give because you come from an Infinite Source.

Your giving uplifts and comforts and informs.

You present a different and higher view when you give.

You always give generously.

Your unique vision helps you identity a need which you can support with your gifts.

Your particular point of view allows you to create solutions to the problems you see.

You are always in touch with your Source whenever you listen within, so it is easy to identify where you can give.

Nothing can prevent you from sharing your gifts and giving widely.

You have a natural attraction to the people and places who will receive your gifts most gladly.

You are supported by your ability to give and your natural desire to share your gifts.

Stick To Your Ideals

Your ideals will take you much farther than anything else.

As you develop them, they expand.

Your ideals work through your mental and emotional channels, so therefore they have a much farther outreach than all other resources.

Follow them.

Listen to them.

Take the first tiny steps which come to you.

Let those tiny steps accumulate into more and more steps.

Your goal will redefine and expand each time you listen to your ideals.

There are no limits on the power of ideals and the resources they attract.

Be sure of your desire to uplift, comfort and to provide assurance.

Selfishness turns inward, and generosity blesses everyone it touches.

Your generosity comes from the ideas which help you uplift others.

You create room to receive when you listen inwardly for direction.

As yo provide room for others to receive, you receive also.

Your giving heart does not leave you empty.

The expansion of ideals lifts, comforts, provides, communicates, supplies, and enhances every part of life.

How Your Life Develops

The world throws random experiences at you.

Some are in line with your heritage, some with your surroundings, some with your companionship.

Their common element is that they all come into your life.

What you do with each of them is entirely up to you.

You can appreciate them or fear them.

You can accept them or resent them.

You can justify them or disrespect them.

How you respond is the one factor which will shape them.

Your reaction alone will cause them to continue to interact in random ways.

But your considered thought about them and your choices in how to direct and redirect them will create an intentional life.

Amazing to think that despite the government you grew up with, the neighborhood, the education, the parenting, that all this is simply background.

You can redraw, reshape, give emphasis and texture to any portion that you like.

Your imagination and skill will create different scenarios.

Even the emotional factors can come under your control with the appropriate tools.

So, watch and listen.

Consider, and then create.

Outside Expectations

Right here, right now, you are meeting some kind of expectations.

Some of them may be yours, but a lot of them are not.

All the factors which have gone into how you were raised, your gender, the culture around you and many more, are contributing to what is expected of you.

However, the most important part of that is what you expect and accept about yourself.

As your life takes its shape, it may appear to be going along all right.

Or it may appear to have too many obstacles to survive.

At some point, whether it is good or bad, you may be prompted to think about your life in a different way.

You may wonder how you got to this point.

You may decide it is not fair.

You may decide, even if it is good, you would like it to be more generous.

There are many directions your thought about your life may take.

The important thing is that you are now thinking about your life.

As you consider it, you may begin to seek out some ways in which you could change it.

This is when you could move from outside expectations to the ones coming from within you.

Think about your life.

Ponder it.

And then, go within, and find out what you are really here for.

The Most Wonderful Thing

What would you be doing if you could choose the most wonderful thing that you enjoy doing?

What would you create?

How would you engage your mind?

What is in your imagination?

What are the tools that you need?

What is the first tiny step you can take?

Let these questions be the ones you answer every day to create the life you would most enjoy.

Let your heart’s desire guide you.

It is there for a reason.

You exist in the form you do with the ideas you have to express an absolutely unique identity.

This is your vital contribution to society.

You need only take the steps to create your original ideas to bring all the goodness you could ever dream of into your life.

The challenges you face will build your strength, conviction, confidence, and skills.

You will become more than you ever thought you could.

You will be challenged to grow more powerfully than you could ever imagine.

You will live in a different kind of world, the one created by your strength, your individuality, and your capacity to share your powerful and uplifting ideas.

Guard Your Decency

It is important to treat others with decency.

Respecting where others are coming from and their points of view makes conversation possible.

Creating room for lots of good ideas to surface gives you more to work with on a project.

Combining ideas can often create a more effective solution.

It all begins with a practice of respect and decency.

Do not be influenced by an appeal to low emotions when dealing with anyone.

Do not be led to think there are better and worse people.

Guard your decency by treating everyone with the respect you desire.

Your attitude will uplift everyone around you and will attract really strong and positive people onto your team.

When people know that they can safely express their ideas, it makes innovation easier.

It moves society forward as well.

You will be surprised to find yourself in a far more effective place when you guard your decency and practice it consistently.

Who You Listen To

In each person, there is an inner fire which is always fueled by truth, passion, delight, and purpose.

This is the only thing you need to listen to.

The consensus which allows negativity to predominate, or entertainment, or wastes the minds of so many people, is simply not appealing to one who has that inner fire.

It requires that we do not listen to what is around us.

It requires that we listen only to the uplifting purpose that we can each serve.

It requires associations with those of uplifting and passionate commitment.

When your place yourself in this mode of thinking and acting, your life takes on a singular quality of happiness.

Your satisfaction exceeds anything else you have ever done.

Your focus on lifting up your attitude lets you rise to take the steps that are invisible to those who are lost in negativity.

When your course is set on giving, serving, uplifting and including everyone who can possibly benefit from your work, you attain a deep peace and happiness which permeates your life.

Viewing the contributions from people like this makes me feel wonderful.

I love reading about the way Dr. Yunas’ concept of “social business” transformed the lives of so many in Bangladesh and took them out of poverty.

I love the fact that Atlanta, GA, where the founder of Habitat for Humanity lived, has the lowest rate of homelessness.

I love the commitment of the Buddhist monk who built a school to take care of so many abandoned children and orphans in the foothills of the Himalayans.

I love the inspired action from within which has guided so many people to turn their lives around and to help so many others do so as well.
