Finding Right Relationship

You are not cut off from any right relationships.

Right now, you are attracting what you see.

It is a feedback loop.

To change what you are attracting and what you see is a conscious endeavor to define what you want.

Then, take a step in the direction of improving your own expression of what you want.

If you want trust, take a step in becoming more trustworthy.

Complete your work.

Be neat.

Be on time.

If you want commitment, be more committed in your own actions.

Complete your projects in an orderly and timely way.

If you want to be well thought of, think of others in the best ways you can.

As you define more of what you want, think of ways you can be that person yourself.

Take the first step, take small steps.

You will notice a changing landscape of relationships as you move yourself in the direction of your desires.

You want riches?

Give more and live more richly by enriching the lives of others.

Do not judge them.

You do not know what has brought them to their present state.

You want beauty?

Be more beautiful yourself.

Express forgiveness and tolerance and let those lead to understanding and compassion.

As you become a more beautiful person, you will attract more beauty.

You have a good gauge of where you are by your present surroundings.

How long did it take you to get there?

You will move into more favorable circumstances and relationships more quickly once you begin your conscious practice to get there.

People, Even Parents, Can Change

We have the perspectives from the experiences we grew up with.

We simply do.

We know what we have experienced and nothing is going to change that, nor should it.

However, there are occasions when we are given a new perspective.

Working through my own child trauma through the writings of other authors and many, many workshops, I had made progress toward rewriting my life.

I was able, with the practice of new tools and techniques, to forgive my father.

I was very grateful.

However, even though I had forgiven my father, I was still dealing with the aftershocks for decades of my life.

It is impossible for this not to have affected the atmosphere in which I raised my children.

During a recent workshop, I was able to shift my perspective and to welcome my father into my light.  (link)

I was absolutely amazed.

I imagine over time, it could affect the relationships I have with all my own children, too.

For now, I am once again grateful for my own progress after decades of entrenched fear.

What You Believe About Yourself

When you believe something about yourself based on social, academic or work situations, you may be completely wrong.

The only things that are true about you are the best things.

You are manifesting whatever you believe.

The Universe has wonderful things to say about you.

You live in It.

So listen.

You have the goodness and expansiveness and richness of the Universe.

You have the imagination and individuality and unselfishness and strength of character that the Universe bestows on you.

You have the insight and precision and accuracy which created the heavens and keeps the stars and planets in their courses.

You have delight and artistry and humor and sensitivity and gentleness.

You have unlimited happiness and light-heartedness and concentration and comfort and harmony in your life.

Anything less is a lie.

Tell yourself the truth about your excellence and innovation and strength and discipline and the strong foundation you are building for your success.

Do it all the time.

Then see what a difference that makes.

Degree or Dream?

You can invest in yourself in many different ways.

While you are expanding your ability to express yourself and to make a meaningful contribution to society, you will encounter many possibilities and directions.

Accept the challenges that present themselves and listen to your deep inner self.

It may be appropriate to get your college degree.

Fulfilling those requirements gives you skills and shows you can complete a long-term project.

It may be appropriate to set up your own business.

Doing so gives you others kinds of skills and also shows you can complete a long-term project.

During both operations, you will be faced with doubts, frustrations and fears.

You will have successes and learn things you are not aware of at the time.

Completing each college course gives you certain kinds of stepping stones.

You are joining in a communal experience and will know how college graduates think.

You will understand their vocabulary and be better able to serve their needs.

Starting your own business gives you different kinds of stepping stones and lets you connect your dream from imagination to reality.

Remember, whatever job you get will be helping to fulfill someone else’s dream.

You still want to fulfill your purpose and reason for being on this earth.

Use either your degree or your dream, or both, to do so.
