Practicing Peace



A long-term practice of peace within yields amazing results.

We are able to to stay calm amid cruel and unthinking attacks.

We are able to give value to those who have differing viewpoints.

Even when the differing viewpoints appear to be unsettling, we are able to remain calm within.

The calm within nurtures healing, both for ourselves and others.

The calm within establishes a presence and a practice that withstands confrontation.

It withstands loss.

It withstands criticism.

It simply stands, patiently.

When we are led to express our true nature and to explore who we really are, it may take many different shapes.

It may take the shape of a new career or a new study.

It may take the shape of a new approach.

Whatever shape it takes, when it proceeds from calm, it has the ability to bless, both within and without.
