Creating Your Own Life

By embracing and sharing the ideals which are most important to you, you are creating the best life for yourself and for those around you.

When you create a life based on truth and honesty, you can see clearly what you need to accomplish.

With genuine goals of self-fulfillment, you will participate in the kind of society which creates well-being for all of its members.

Your business creation to address social needs will feed the profits back into the business directly.

Your co-operatives will engage everyone in making decisions which benefit all members of the co-operative.

The interactions in your society will be inclusive and will solve problems from the ground up.

This grassroots process will remove many obstacles before they grow into obstructions.

Your own life contribution will be fulfilling and satisfying.

You will have interactions with all members in the community which are respectful and dignified.

The mutual respect and meeting of genuine needs will create communities and societies which are more harmonious, peaceful and secure than have ever been experienced.

Your individual contribution will blend with many to be unified and strong as it uplifts by meeting genuine needs.

Earth stewardship will be one of its characteristics.

People stewardship will advance with respectful use of resources.

Profit stewardship will be in proportion as business needs dictate.

Shareholders will become more and more investment partners who allow the business to profit as it fulfills its goals.

Your life will acquire more significance as you blend your efforts into being part of the process of creating well[-being for everyone in your community.

Your life will be satisfying in purpose and in outcome.

Creating Happiness

The new committed direction to creating safety for students has unified young people all over the country and all over the world.

Not only are they seeking to insure safety in their schools, they are actively involved in seeking solutions to deal with the environment and with climate change.

Stewarding the environment deals with creating a policy to nurture and protect plant and animal life.

It deals with implementing proven sustainable agriculture policies such as agro-ecology and dryland practices.

Facing the reality of climate change involves policy to reduce carbon emissions.

Policy to support renewable energy is a key goal.

These are some of the ways that young people’s awareness and action are taking hold all over the world.

The millennials are facing a tough situation and addressing it in vigorous and creative ways.

Creating happiness involves recognizing each individual as valued and able to contribute to society.

Micropreneurism allows individuals to create jobs for themselves where they see a need.

Social businesses are another way of doing business where all the profits are fed back into the business.

Those who work in social businesses have the benefit of the job and others receive the benefit of the product and services.

More happiness is possible where the energies of everyone can be applied to what is important to them in ways which benefit the community.

People have the dignity of choosing their work and doing it.

More creativity and imagination is applied to real needs and the improvement of everyone in the community is addressed.

As young people turn their attention to solving problems in new ways, people who have been neglected traditionally and currently can be benefitted.

The Wholeness of Society

Young people are leading the way through their shared experiences.

They are seeking and creating connections in a completely different way than previous generations.

Their desire for community is creating a unified approach.

By seeing everywhere as whole, the right steps can be taken to allow all of us to participate in the lifting up process.

As we move collectively toward caring and sharing, we are demonstrating our care for the wholeness of society.

Utilizing the power of communication, the shared emotions of young people are making a powerful impact.

Instead of allowing society to continue to fragment around them, young people are taking unified action.

The conscious forces within leadership are fearful of this kind of action.

The betterment of the whole society is challenging the previous power of selfish action.

Perhaps we are tired enough of the instability caused by selfish action on a large scale.

Perhaps we are moving toward a sense of wholeness where everyone is valued.

Perhaps this idea of the wholeness of society is also a good way to steward the earth and its resources.

Perhaps this is the time we have been waiting for.

Service Through Expansion

The idealism of young people is being translated into action through valuing themselves and their ideas of how they want to live.

They are not accepting the guidelines, nor the limitations, of the previous generations.

They are viewing the situation clearly and are organizing to influence events in a more positive direction.

They are concerned with that which serves everyone instead of just special interests.

They are translating their ideals into practical and effective action.

Instead of thinking just of themselves and their peers, they are embracing the need for positive action which affects everyone.

They are not playing to a small base, but to the needs of everyone as human beings.

They are actively concerned about their safety and the safety of their environment - physical, political, economic, and ecological.

Never before has this idealism had the scale of tools to be put into motion.

The demonstrations of the sixties used the available tools.

Through social media, today’s tools are more far-reaching.

The wealth which is available to so many young people is being utilized to support their action on behalf of a much larger population.

By allowing their sense of self to expand to include all of their generation, they are benefitting those of other generations.

Using their economic and social tools, they are carrying out the steps which are needed to change society.

Youth Engagement

Today’s youth are getting their motivation and inspiration from within.

More likely, it is just becoming more apparent to the older generations.

Taking the tools of social media and social engagement, the accomplishments of youth are very powerful.

They have registered large number of new voters and this has had a significant effect on the mid-term elections.

Youth are cherishing their power to vote and using it in a unified way.

They see clearly the corruption which has gradually overtaken the will of the people and they are turning it around amidst substantial opposition.

Empowered by the intelligent and comprehensive use of resources, young lives are generating better policy for all of us.

It is the help many have been waiting for and it is contagious.

Th early policies, even poorly enforced, have allowed more people to participate in voting.

They have allowed students to interact with all races, religions, and cultures.

Normal friendships have evolved.

People are able to see and experience ordinary friendships across racial and cultural ties.

This allows a consolidation of interests in policies which benefit everyone, even those who are locked in a long-held tradition of racism.

The current which is now running is one of compassion for all of us.

Even the ignorance of a small world view is having to give way to one which allows all of us to create the resources to take care of ourselves.

Hearing And Acting

The young people are hearing and acting on the ideas which are most important for their generation.

No longer will they let the selfish corporate interests take away their freedom to grow up in safety and to live well.

They are unifying and empowering themselves through social media.

They are connecting directly with the power of voting.

They are acting with intelligent dispatch.

They are sensitive to the needs of others and are working with each other to create better government.

Their mentoring is coming from within their own communities.

They know what to do and they are doing it.

It is a remarkable thing to observe the awareness with which they are imbued and the compassion which they are expanding all around them.

Youth and idealism and practical action are a formidable strength.

We are seeing the ideals which empower youth and the egregious suffering which they have seen so young combine into effective action.

They are sharing their trust with each other, and reshaping the institutions which have failed them.

They are working within the law to break up the sickness which selfishness and greed have turned loose upon even the young.

The desire to express the ideals with which they have been educated is turning into powerful and effective action.

This whole movement has begun from grief and trauma and is being enacted with dispatch to relieve suffering.

I stand in awe.

Speak Up to Protect

Most of us grow up with a desire to nurture and protect what is close to us.

It may be family, it may be Nature, it may be a cause that we are involved in.

We must make sure our voices are heard in cases where there are infringements.

No where is this more evident than in today’s politics, so more and more of us are speaking up to protect, defend, and expand the practice of democracy.

The feeling of crisis as we see commercial and corporate interests taking away physical safety, as well as food, water and ecological safety is extreme.

So, many groups and individuals have become involved as we take part in correcting egregious practices.

We are all valuable and precious in our appreciation of our freedoms.

We are all valuable and precious in what we have to contribute to civilization and society.

In order to make those contributions, we must be free to live and to vote.

Our decision-making ability is most harmonious through unrestricted voting for all members of our communities.

Without a peaceful method of making our voices heard, more stringent methods become inevitable.

By releasing all to vote and respecting and valuing their right to do so, we create a society which is fair and balanced.

Such a society can progress within and without.

Such a society can address problems with solutions to benefit all of us.

The narrow-minded thinking of greed is trying to erode the benefits of a representative government for such a pitiable reason, personal control of resources.

Such selfish motives have no place in a democracy which exists to benefit all her people.

I am grateful to hear so many voices speaking up to protect and defend all of us.
